Kirsten Brenner's career has been shaped by a passion for hospitality, destination experiences, and creating memorable moments. After graduating from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, she built a strong foundation in Hawaiʻi's events industry, producing high-end private events, corporate incentive programs, and large-scale community gatherings. That experience led her to New Zealand, where she broadened her expertise across event management, venue operations, hospitality, and marketing.

Along the way, Kirsten has contributed to notable events including the Hawaiʻi Spam Jam, Hawaiʻi Food & Wine Festival, New Zealand Golf Open, New Zealand Toyota Racing Series, and the New Zealand International Airshow. She also helped launch and grow a new brewery and event venue in New Zealand, giving her firsthand experience in business development and the full guest journey — from first impression to final farewell.

Today, Kirsten brings together the best of both worlds — pairing island hospitality with an international perspective as she leads Island Events' presence in New Zealand, bringing the spirit of aloha to programs across the Pacific.

Outside of work, Kirsten loves traveling, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new cultures and cuisines — a curiosity she channels into every experience she creates, from Hawaiʻi to Aotearoa.
